UTRGV ATHLETICS TO HOST FREE EVENTS FOR UTRGV STUDENTS, FACULTY AND STAFF AT GALAXY BOWLING AND TOP GOLF

RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Monday plans to host free events for UTRGV students, faculty and staff on Tuesday at Galaxy Bowling Center in Brownsville and Thursday at Topgolf in Pharr.
UTRGV students, faculty and staff need only bring their UTRGV ID to take part in free bowling from 6-to-9 p.m. Tuesday at Galaxy Bowling (3451 Pablo Kisel Blvd.) and free golf Thursday from 6-to-9 p.m. at Topgolf (1901 I-2).
UTRGV students, faculty and staff will not only get to bowl and golf but can meet and interact with UTRGV student-athletes, coaches, and staff as well.
“Our students, faculty and staff have made their presence felt at our games and matches this fall, and this is an opportunity for us to say thank you for their support,” UTRGV Vice President and Director of Athletics Chasse Conque said. “We deeply appreciate our students, faculty and staff and look forward to two fun-filled evenings.”
