Hundreds start Labor Day weekend at Clayton's Beach Bar on SPI

Hundreds flock to the Island and find their spots on the deck or the beach to start their Labor Day holiday at Clayton’s Beach Bar.

Many guests are seen enjoying their time along the shore, on the pier and below it in the water.

Clayton’s Beach Bar is one of 25 city Beach acess points that is open during Labor Day weekend. Couty beaches are scheduled to reopen Tuesday September 8, with restrictions and guidelines.

South Padre Island has been rated one of the best places to surf.
